Youth and Family Minister Adam Stockton is originally from Findlay, Ohio, and grew up in Richardson, TX. He earned his Certification in Youth and Family Ministry through Wartburg Theological Seminary and Vibrant Faith Ministries. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and an an Associate's degree in Psychology. He graduated from TCU-Brite with a Master's of Divinity with specializations in pastoral care, military chaplaincy, and ethics. He has also served as a trauma chaplain at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas for his Clinical Pastoral Education, while being involved in cultural immersion studies. Prior to joining Rejoice in April of 2014, he served another ELCA congregation in the Dallas area. His career prior to ministry involved call center management and IT technical support. He and his wife Marlette were married in 2017. He is an avid Dallas Stars fan, but will also root for the Nashville Predators as long as they are not playing the Stars. He enjoys blacksmithing, fishing, camping, photography, tennis, hockey, biking, archery, and playing video games.
